Page 7 of 17 We support the notion that Government has no place in the personal lives of individuals. It is not the responsibility of Government to act as “parent” and make laws against or for certain actions adults may choose to do; as it relates to voluntary euthanasia, associations, gay marriage, home births, surrogacy, abortions, or clothing. The role of government in this regard is to ensure that appropriate checks and balances are in place which support and promote individual and national sovereignty.
